Welkom op de website van de Stichting Familie Herweijer. Al sinds oktober 2009 kon u hier terecht voor informatie over de familie Herweijer in het algemeen en het familieonderzoek en de Stichting in het bijzonder. Via deze website kunt u makkelijk contact met ons zoeken voor bijv. adreswijzigingen, geboorte- en overlijdensberichten en natuurlijk alle familieverhalen. Suggesties, op- en aanmerkingen en vragen zijn van harte welkom. Speciaal voor onze donateurs wordt er aan het einde van ieder jaar een kleurrijke Herweijer Post uitgegeven. Daarin staan naast de foto’s van de laatste Herweijer dag ook wetenswaardigheden van het afgelopen jaar. Alle reden om donateur te worden van onze Stichting. Voor slechts € 12,50 bent u dat al en steunt u onze Stichting enorm! Gelijktijdig met het verschijnen van de nieuwe Herweijer Post wordt die van het jaar daarvoor openbaar en verschijnt op de site. Tenslotte nog de vermelding van onze Facebookgroep ‘Stichting Familie Herweijer.’

A special welcome to the English speaking members of our family.

Many Herweijer families live outside The Netherlands, the majority in the USA and in Canada. Only a few descendants of Herweyers who emigrated to ‘the New World’ during the years 1847 till 1955 still understand or speak Dutch. Welcome to the new website of the Herweijer Family Foundation. Here you will find interesting information about the Herweijers in general, and the family research and Herweijer Foundation in particular. Through this website you can easily contact us. Furthermore you can read all the family stories and give notice of your change of address, birth announcements or obituaries. Suggestions, comments and questions are very welcome. For our 170 supporters we publish a colorful Herweijer Post at the end of each calendar year. At the moment the new Herweijer Post is published, last years issue is uploaded to our website. Apart from this beautiful newsletter, there are more reasons to get involved with us. For a minimum amount of € 13 per annum you can become supporter of our Foundation. These financial contributions enable us to finance further genealogical research and additional study of archives.
